boccherini-grand-1

Courses leaders : Ophélie Gaillard, Pascale Clément
Objectives :

– Discovering the specificities of the instruments of the string orchestra baroque and classical
– Entering the universe of Luigi Boccherini and baroque period
– Experimenting with the sensorial approach to the instrument

The projet :

Luigi Boccherini, an Italian émigré who became the toast of Paris, then at the court of the Infante of Spain, is an artiste quite present in Pulcinella’s repertoire. Thus, the aim of this programme will be to introduce his universe to the students whilst, on the same occasion, offering them an intrusion in the Baroque world. Experimentation by the senses will be given prominence. The works performed will come from Pulcinella’s Boccherini programme. The type and content of the interventions will be adapted to the ages, context and demands of the venue.
