Viva Venezia

8 to 10 musicians

Never short of ideas, the cellist Ophélie Gaillard this time points her bow towards the eighteenth century Venice. She makes the masks fall and reveals the treasures of the Carnival city. It was at Ospedale della Pietà that Vivaldi, the maestro al violino, gave the cello a new revolutionary place and confirmed the growing importance of this instrument in the repertoire.

This anthology of concertos, both theatrical and lyrical, is a party where Ophélie Gaillard and her accomplices revive the excitement of concerts in the Serenissimo.
