I colori de’ll ombra

8 to 10 musicians

This programme highlights the elective affinities between Vivaldi, Il Prete rosso of Venice, La Serenissima, and Handel, Il Caro Sassone: composers who were soon to conquer the whole of Europe.

Breathtaking virtuosity in the allegros, inimitable cantabile in the melodic lines (whe- ther vocal or instrumental), fervour and intimacy in the adagios: constantly renewed inspiration from two musicians and composers at the height of their art, both of them members of the very select Roman Academy of the Arcadians.

An evening of pyrotechnics, with song and dance.

The album I Colori dell’ombra, recorded by Pulcinella for the Aparté label, has already been acclaimed by a wide audience and has received excellent reviews in the inter- national press.
