Cultural action : Boccherini vs Hersant

Objectives :

– Discovering Luigi Boccherini’s and Philippe Hersant’s universes
– Learning more about classical period and contemporary music
– Comparing two composers of different universes

The projet :

The Pulcinella programme ‘Hersant in homage to Boccherini’, which will be premiered in 2018, should be the occasion for working closely with a composer of our time on the creation of new works on the one hand, and practicing the Baroque and Classical repertoires on the other. That is why thinking about a cultural action bringing together these two composers of opposite universes and eras seemed essential to us. Thus, the works performed will come from the Boccherini programme and the Philippe Hersant premiere. The type and contents of the interventions will be adapted to the ages, context and demands of the venue.
