Alvorada : a journey through Iberian-Hispanic music

Objectives :

– Discovering the folk music and rhythms of Brazil, Argentina and Spain, in particular the samba, tango and jota
– Discovering percussion instruments from Brazil (berimbau, cuica, pandeiro) and Spain (castanets, bells)
– Making the body work through dance and the practice of percussion
– Broaching the notion of playing together

The project:

The works that we share with children are taken directly from the Alvorada programme, a journey through art and folk music from Andalusia, Argentina and Brazil.
